SPRING! Finally balmy weather, grass turning greener, flowers starting to bloom and thoughts of summer vacation taking shape. And, how about our raffle quilt taking second prize at the Machine Quilter's Expo in Providence, RI during the April competition! It won second place in the "Quilts among Friends" category which is for quilts with more than 5 makers. WOW!

To the Crazy Quilters Quilt Guild
The Crazy Quilters Quilt Guild meets the first Tuesday of every month (except November, election night) at the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 3461 S. Cedar Crest Boulevard, Emmaus, Pennsylvania 18049 Directions
Our meetings include light refreshments made by our members, usually beginning at 6:45pm. We are told that our "food is the best at any meeting."
Our program begins at 7:00pm and is followed by our business meeting then a "show and tell" session (another great opportunity to pick up something new and make suggestions). It's better than being at a quilt show!
Our programs feature nationally-known or local quilters, quilt teachers, or other speakers on topics of interest relating to quilting. We offer related workshops throughout the year.
We also boast of our lending library which consists of over 380 books pertaining to our passion. These books are available every meeting for browsing and for member borrowing.
Our Guild is involved in a variety of community service projects and we also design a raffle quilt. Our members are encouraged to participate in all functions. In fact, NQA has recognized our extensive public undertakings.
We always welcome new members and you are invited to join our group. The annual dues is $25 (prorated if you join late in the program year) and we currently have over 100 active members.
This is a great time to improve a technique, learn a new style, and even inspires members to create a new project. It's also a time to let everyone know about a new earned experience.
Want to join? Just open and fill out the attached membership application and mail with your dues to the address on the contact page. Better yet, come to a meeting and bring the application with you. Come for the fun! Come for the inspiration! Come for that much needed "night off."
